WHY IT MATTERS
EVERY FKT IS A STORY.
Out there it is you, your crew and a lot of quiet miles. Back home, people who love you are refreshing a page and wondering. HardTracks brings the attempt to life for them: where you are, how you look at the last stop, what the crew is seeing, and why you are out there at all. When it is over, the whole story is written down and kept.
BEFORE · THE BUILD UP
Give them a reason to care
Your load up page tells the build up: the route, the record you are chasing, who you are, who is crewing and the plan. Share one link everywhere you post. Fans guess your finish and tap Remind me so they are there when you start.
DURING · THE RIDE ALONG
Folks at home feel every mile
Your check in notes, crew posts, photos and short clips land in one live feed, in trail order. People send encouragement you can read when you want it, and ask the crew questions. Nobody has to text the crew "where is he now?"
AFTER · THE RECORD OF IT
Documented, start to finish
Every check in is time stamped by our server. Every crew stop is logged. Every photo sits at the mile it was taken. The replay, the photo river and each crew member’s diary stay up, so the story is still there years from now.

STAGE 04 · PRIVACY AND SAFETY
GOLD
STEALTH MODE
Your attempt, on your terms. Plenty of runners do not want strangers waiting at a trailhead, or want to start a day late without anyone knowing. Pick how public you want to be, and change it any time. Your safety never goes quiet.
DELAYED START
Stealth start
Share a start window, like Dec 10 to 12, instead of a time. Press Start for real whenever you go. The public sees the window, then simply waits for your first update. Your official time, splits and the record ghost always use your real start.
GO OFFLINE TO THE PUBLIC
Go dark
Hold the button for 2 seconds and you leave the public map at once, with no last point left behind. The page just waits for your next update. Your check ins keep recording privately, so nothing is lost.
COME BACK
Go live
Another 2 second hold puts you back on the map in the present. Every check in and post you held goes up at once, so the story fills in behind you. Held items go public only when you choose.
LIVE, UP TO 48 HOURS BEHIND
Time delay
Pick any delay you want, as long as 48 hours (two full days). Use it for the whole attempt or just coming out of a dark stretch. The public sees a normal map. Only you, your crew and your safety contact know it is behind. Switch to live whenever you like.
QUIET, BUT NOT ALONE
Go dark and alert my crew
One held button takes you off the public map and sends your crew and safety contact your true location with a "check on me" message.
THE CREW GOES QUIET TOO
Crew stealth
Crew posts and crew spots still upload and save the moment they are made, but stay held. While you are dark, every crew post is held for you automatically. They release with one tap, or when you go live.
NO SIGNAL
Offline check ins
Not a stealth setting, just the backcountry. With no signal, your check ins and your crew’s posts save on the phone with the real time, and send on their own when you are back in range.
Stealth turns on only after you add a safety contact.
ALWAYS ON, EVEN IN STEALTH
- Your crew and safety contact always see where you are
- Emergency button
- Overdue alert based on your own pace
- Location stripped from every photo
- Nothing is ever deleted
-
STAGE 05 · AFTER THE FINISH
THE FINISH LINE

- The whole day stays up. Replay, photos and crew diaries, ready to shareGold
