Priya Nand
Raleigh, NC · Graduate student, geology
Out at yard 33 after a stubborn night.
The story
Priya studies rocks and says she picked backyards because they are the one race where you can look at the same hill 40 times and keep finding new things in it. She went 33 yards · 33 hours · 137.5 mi here after 27 at her first, and timed out on a yard she says she simply fell asleep walking. She is writing her thesis on the creek at mile 2.1.
